Chia-Innov Project 2017/2019

Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Chia-Innov project brought together 4 partners around the development of a national chia supply chain. With a budget of nearly 2 million euros, it enabled pioneering research into the multi-sector applications of the chia seed.

The 4 partners: Coreva (oil mill), LCA (agro-industrial chemistry laboratory), Emeraude (cosmetics laboratory) and Panam (varietal breeding).
